Trees - Joyce Kilmer
ummmmm. pretty.
i need to not do news and connect to the energy of tzadick.
this simple piece is poignant. sometimes, simple is best. we used to sing it in grade school.
Joyce Kilmer. 1886–1918
119. Trees
I THINK that I shall never see
A poem lovely as a tree.
A tree whose hungry mouth is pressed
Against the sweet earth's flowing breast;
A tree that looks at God all day,
And lifts her leafy arms to pray;
A tree that may in summer wear
A nest of robins in her hair;
Upon whose bosom snow has lain;
Who intimately lives with rain.
Poems are made by fools like me,
But only God can make a tree.

Tu B' Shevat coincides with a lot of holidays relating to the celebration of the coming of spring and therefore growth, both religious and secular holidays.
I try to point out the quantum synchronicity, which is neither secular or religious - huh?
my back is still giving me lots of pain. i'm working hard to downsize and clean up this house so i'll be able to put it on the market and get a good price - i think i might have to paint - and then get something smaller, and be able to have options again. it means another hurricane season in florida.
hmmmm.
i need to muse now because.......
i do.
i missed Rabbi G in Miami. The posting didn't go up until 2 days before, and my back hurt too much to think about driving 4 1/2 hrs . :( His sect is a pretty closed one. I love his wisdom.
.....
one news story. They gave Ariel Sharon a feeding tube. So that means they're keeping him alive.
.....
Trees don't make war.
Peace
