Love those New Yorkers

The Transit strike is still on, but nothing stops New Yorkers. I spoke to a friend who lives in the City last night, and she said everything is moving as it always does in New York.
It started me thinking about the principal of resistance and that the more resistance, the more light revealed. New York is constantly full of resistance. Crossing the street requires that you use all your physical senses, plus your so called 6th sense, because there is always something coming at you. Hailing a cab can be like going into battle :) You are constantly surrounded by hordes of people, therefore you must learn to conceal yourself. If you loose pace with the walkers in the street, you're left behind. So, every step is a step which encounters resistance. And it seems to follow that because of this, you have a very stronge collective psyche.
There is constant resistance. I can see that now. When I was a part of it, it was difficult to see. If you imply to a New Yorker that there is a task they cannot accomplish, they will immediately look at you like you are crazy. Because that is the energy of that City. Constant motion, nothing can stop New York or New Yorkers. It's fascinating. The City is full of Tourists now from all over the world, and New Yorkers, despite the constant motion , are very friendly. Tourists are asking which is N,S,E,W, because NY is set up as a grid. Which way to the East River? Which way to the Hudson? Manhattan is an Island. That's the thing. In order to get in or out, you either have to cross bridges or go under the water in tunnels. Very vulnerable. But strong. I see a connection here with Israel. That tiny little country that causes political upheaval throughout the globe. New York is this tiny little Island with such strength.

.....
Everybody is still going on and on about the difference between Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays and Season's Greetings and all this rubbish. Yes, words have consciousness. But a greeting from the Heart, filled with love and light, is beyond words, isn't it?
We need more connection, less fragmentation. We need to walk in each other's shoes. Imagine working in NY during the Holiday season with a Transit strike.

JOY TO THE WORLD

PEACE ON EARTH

STOP

WAR

JUST STOP.
